Screenshot Swipe operates primarily on your device. Optional AI features may send extracted text to Google's servers.
Screenshot Swipe is designed with privacy as a priority. We do not collect or store any personal data on our servers. The App does not have its own backend servers.

All photo processing happens locally on your device. Your actual images never leave your device.
The app includes optional AI features ("Smart Analysis") that use Google's Gemini API to generate summaries and suggest tags.
You can disable AI features at any time in Settings → Smart Analysis.

The app uses Apple's Vision framework to extract text from screenshots. This processing happens entirely on your device and does not require an internet connection.
The app may request permission to send local notifications for reminders you set. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device.
Any data the app stores (such as tags, notes, and saved screenshot references) is kept locally on your device using Apple's standard data storage frameworks.
